Coach & Academy Regional Coordinator - Keller
Mark Meredith was born in Birmingham, England where he played youth soccer at the local Centre of Excellence. It was during his schoolboy years he became very interested in coaching football and created the goals for his future.
Following on from school he went on to further his education at Solihull College where gained National Diploma in "Sports Teaching & Leadership" and a host of football coaching qualifications including UEFA "B" License.
After graduating college Mark began to work with Birmingham City Football Club. While at the club he worked as Football Administrator at St Andrews Stadium and began coaching in their “
“Community department." Through hard work and with his strong leadership qualities, he was promoted to full time “Academy Administrator" where he would oversee all youth registrations and contracts and "Staff Coaches" in the club’s Academy, where he coached all age groups from 5-18 years old.
In 2010 Mark moved to Derby County Academy. At Derby his role was to oversee the pre Academy program that focused on developing players in the 5-8 age group and prepare them for Academy soccer. Mark was also a staff coach with the Derby U12 Boys Academy team.
Following a spell as Academy coach at Walsall FC, before moving into the ladies games as 1st team coach of Premier League Leicester City Women.
In 2014 Mark moved to Norway to become 1st Team Manager at Helle IF in Norwegian 7th Division, head of youth development and also hosted Skills camps across Scandinavia.
Mark moved to Texas USA in December 2014 making home in Keller to continue coaching soccer as assistant coach at South Western Assemblies of God University and being a wealth of experience with him, his most recent role seen him as player development coach at Saints Soccer Club.
